அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கம் இன்று நவம்பர் 14 ஆம் தேதி குழந்தைகள் தினத்தை கொண்டாடுகிறோம் நமது சுதந்திர இந்தியாவின் முதல் பிரதமர் ஜவஹர்லால் நேரு அவர்களின் பிறந்த தினம் நவம்பர் 14ஆம் தேதி அவர் குழந்தைகளின் மீது காட்டிய அளவற்ற அன்பை நினைவு கூறும் விதமாக அவருடைய பிறந்த நாளை ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் குழந்தைகள் தினமாக இந்தியா முழுவதும் கொண்டாடி வருகிறோம்
இன்னும் ஒரு வாரத்தில் சர்வதேச குழந்தைகள் தினம் கொண்டாடப்பட இருக்கிறது சட்டென இளகி விடும் மனம் படைத்தவரை குழந்தை மனம் கொண்டவர் என்று தான் நாம் அனைவரும் கூறுவோம்
கள்ளம் கபடமற்ற இந்த குழந்தைகளுக்காக குழந்தைகள் தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது குழந்தை மனம் கொண்ட நேரு மாமா அவர்கள் குழந்தைகளுக்கு சரியான முறையில் கல்வி போதிக்கப்படவும் அவர்கள் வளர்ச்சிக்கு உதவும் வேண்டும் என்பதில் கவனமாக இருந்தார் அதனால் தான் நம் நாட்டு குழந்தைகள் அவரை நேரு மாமா என அன்போடு அழைக்கின்றனர்
உலகிலேயே அதிக எண்ணிக்கையில் குழந்தைகளை கொண்டுள்ள நாடுகளில் நமது இந்தியாவும் ஒன்று பெரும்பாலும் நேரு மாமா அவர்களின் புகைப்படத்தோடு குழந்தைகள் இருப்பதை நாம் அடிக்கடி பார்த்திருக்கிறோம்.
அனைத்து குழந்தைகளுக்கும் அடிப்படை கல்வியும் அனைத்து உரிமைகளும் கிடைக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே குழந்தைகள் தின விழாவின் நோக்கமாகும்.
நாட்டின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்கு அடித்தளமாக விளங்குவது குழந்தை பருவத்தில் கற்றுக் கொள்ளும் விஷயங்கள்தான் குழந்தை பருவத்தில் நல்ல பழக்கங்களை கற்றுக் கொடுக்க வேண்டும்.
புத்தகங்களை படிப்பது மட்டுமே கல்வி என்ற நிலை மாறி எல்லா குழந்தைகளுடன் பழகி சமூக அறிவையும் வளர்த்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் அப்பொழுதுதான் அவர்களுக்கிடையே சமத்துவம் சகோதரத்துவம் உதவும் மனப்பான்மை ஆகியவைகள் வளரும்.
